Abstract guidelines to the 11th European Conference on Traumatic Stress

Submission information
 
All submissions must be done on-line before the deadline 5 January 2009. The submissions will be peer-reviewed for acceptance by members of the 11th ECOTS scientific committee and the authors will be notified by 15 March 2009.Please read the guidelines regarding policies carefully before registering your abstract. Papers that do not conform to these guidelines will not be accepted. 

The submitting author must register as a conference delegate and pay the registration fee. Abstracts without a paid registration fee can not be presented at the conference or published in the abstract book.
 
   
Submission policies and guidelines:
 
There is a limit of 2 abstracts for oral presentations per presenter. This does not apply to pre- meeting institutes or talks invited by the scientific committee.
There will be no submission deadline extensions.
Papers that do not conform to the guidelines will not be accepted.
Presentations should be original contributions, meaning it has not been published prior to the date the abstract was submitted.
Abstracts will be published in their original form.
The official language of the conference is English. All sessions will be in English.

Co-authors
You may add co-authors when submitting your abstract. After having chosen "add co-author", please enter your co-authors name and press search. If he/she is not already registered, you will have the possibility to create a new person. Please choose "Create a new person" and insert the information about your co-author. Save the information, and the co-author has been registered.

SYMPOSIA/PANELS Session length: 75 minutes Session that include 2-4 presenters that address a common theme, issue or question. This may include diverse or similar approaches to the same question. Panel discussions are typically more interactive than a symposia. Symposia should include presentation titles whereas panel presentations only require one overall title. In symposia, where there are fewer than 4 presenters, the program chair may add a single paper submission addressing a similar theme.
